whole hand, or spreading your fingers to reach different notes.
Another way is used to play runs of notes which cannot be reached
by five fingers.
THE
RIGHT HAND
Runs of notes towards the right of the keyboard can be played smoothly
by passing the thumb underneath the-fingers, like this:
your
wrist and arm should stay as straight as possible and not twist
when your thumb moves under the fingers.
Now, use this 'technique' to play a Scale of C as smoothly as possible,
holding each note until the next is to be played. Follow the fingering
carefully:
