Playing with all your fingers

IMPORTANT
You can practise moving your fingers as explained opposite whenever you have a spare moment, even if you are away from a piano. Rest your thumbs and fingertips lightly on any firm surface and practise moving one finger after the other while counting to yourself. Flex your fingers before and after you do this to loosen up the joints.
